Rocky River Saliva Testing

Give your body what it needs to be healthy!

Give your body what it needs to be healthy!

Your body has a built-in system designed to keep you healthy and vital well into your early 100s. If you learn how this system works then you can live well and symptom-free for most of your life. If you are symptomatic, you need to know that the body is still on automatic pilot to self-repair. If you are unhealthy, you will find healing by focusing on effectively “turning on” your body’s regenerative process.

Your Unique Needs

Using your saliva as a diagnostic tool, you can implement individually appropriate changes to your life to reach optimal health and vitality. In general, saliva testing of the adrenal glands offers a powerful tool to evaluate gastrointestinal problems, stress-related and hormone-related diseases, and the overall wellness of your body.

Saliva testing is an extremely effective diagnostic tool to improve one’s health; it offers a view into the body’s emotional, hormonal, immunological, nutritional and metabolic health. The extensive range of communications and relationships among these factors opens a uniquely accurate healing protocol. Optimal health depends on the balance of hormones and not just a single hormone. Saliva is used to evaluate the nuances that may not show in bloodwork — how many times have you heard “blood work normal,” yet you have every sign and symptom that clearly shows you are not functioning normally?

Showing Progress Over Time

Saliva testing is convenient, non-invasive and inexpensive, which allows for needed multiple tests over an extended period of time to design individual healing programs. Saliva tests the free hormones, which are the correct reflection of the bio-activity of the hormones available for the body to use.

Testing is performed in the comfort of your own home and results are in our office approximately one week after you send them in. We use Diagnos-Techs labs out of Washington. This lab has been awarded accreditation by the Joint Commission for standards.

Female Hormone Panel

We will use this test to assist us with fertility and/or severe PMS. This test takes a month to perform- you are monitoring your hormonal health with 11 samples over 28-32 days. This monitoring gives us a far clearer picture of what your hormones are doing everyday of your cycle.

Post-Menopause Panel

To identify problems associated with bleeding irregularities, dryness, hot flashes/sweats, insomnia, headaches, mood changes, depression, osteoporosis, altered fat and carbohydrate metabolism, elevated blood pressure or gallbladder issues.

Adrenal Panel

If you have dramatic mood shifts, chronic stress and related health issues, low immunity, skin problems, lack of vitality and energy, muscle and joint pain, hypoglycemia, common digestive disturbances, migraine headaches, osteoporosis, sleep disturbances, poor memory, low sex drive, low body temperature or thyroid issues, an adrenal panel can assist in locating the cause of your problem.

Male Hormone Panel

For those who have an impaired libido, ED, baldness, thinning, fat accumulation around the waist, a change in sleep habits, lack of enthusiasm, increased cholesterol, nervousness, depression, inability to lose weight or simply not feeling yourself.

GI Health Panel

If you are having chronic and vague GI symptoms –frequent bloating, gas, cramping, and constipation, travel within the U.S. and overseas, close living quarters or children in daycare, this panel can identify your issues.

Food Allergy Panel

This test measures your gut tolerance to soy, milk, wheat and eggs. It can be run individually or as a group.

Hair Mineral Analysis

Hair Mineral Analysis is an excellent screening test to identify specific nutrient mineral imbalances, disease trends and your load of toxic heavy metals.

Re-tests are strongly recommended every 3-4 months. As the body chemistry changes on the program and the body’s detoxification pathways are enhanced, you are urged to continue the program based on the results of your follow-up hair test. Once stabilized this test can be performed annually to ensure we are achieving your health goals. We use Analytical Research Laboratories in Phoenix, Arizona.

Hair tissue mineral analysis is an excellent way to view:

  • The body’s stress patterns
  • Mineral imbalances
  • Organ/glandular weakness
  • Oxidative rate
  • Nervous system dominance
  • Ideal nutritional supplements for you
  • Presence of toxic metals and materials in the body

Advantages of hair over other biopsies:

  1. Element deposits are stored in the hair for many months, whereas blood serum is always changing
  2. Often mineral levels are lower in the blood, making detection more difficult
  3. Hair analysis is one of few ways to detect toxic metals
  4. Toxic metals are not found in high concentrations in the blood, except after acute exposure

Toxic Metal Readings

Hair mineral analysis is an excellent way to identify the following toxic metals found in the body:

  • Aluminum
  • Arsenic
  • Cadmium
  • Lead
  • Mercury

It is now understood that toxic metal poisoning is a major contributing factor to many degenerative illnesses. The list includes:

  • ADHD
  • Alzheimer’s disease
  • Anemia
  • Arthritis
  • Autism
  • Cancer
  • Dementia
  • Fatigue
  • Hyperactivity
  • Liver/kidney diseases
  • Multiple sclerosis
  • Neuromuscular disorders
  • Osteoporosis
  • Parkinson’s disease

It is important to mention that no toxic metal level is considered safe. Environmental toxicity is a major culprit of toxic metal exposure in your body. Toxicity may come from sources such as:

  • Silver and mercury dental amalgams
  • Non-filtered fluoridated tap water
  • Contaminated food sources
  • Large fish such as tuna and swordfish
  • Contaminated air found in big cities
  • Aluminum cookware and cans
  • Antiperspirants
  • Grecian hair dyes
  • Table salt
  • Baking powders
  • Bleached flour
  • Processed cheese
  • Antacids
  • Drying agents

One of the primary goals of your program is to reduce and eliminate the level of toxic metal exposure. Not all of the body’s toxic metal readings will appear on the first test because heavy metals are often sequestered deep within the body. In fact it is common that toxic metals are revealed on subsequent tests after metals are mobilized from their storage sites. Metals may mobilize from fatty tissue, spleen, liver, kidneys, bones, nervous system and brain.
